Driver seat with no heat

Hello All

Thank you for a very good forum. I have found a lot of information to my vehicle.

Now to my question : I have a 407SW year 2005, 2,0 HDI.

I have heated seats in the two front seats. This is not a problem now this time on the year, but i would like to fix it before the winter. The driver seat has no heat anymore, but the passenger seat is ok. I have looked at the fuses and they are ok. I noticed when I disasembled the contact where you start the heat that the contact area where the cables go in the contact area where corroded, I looked at the circuit boárd and it was i little corrosion on that as well, took that away very gently and try to on the cables see if I could measure if thé cables in the seat are ok or not, but that I am unsure of how to do, Is there anybody who has done this ? or done a similar work on the seat to mend the heater cable , is it possible to do this or is it way to much work.
