I know, I know, not exactly the most difficult task for most people but I thought it's worth a note.
As you all know with the vast majority of cars its just a job of lifting the blades from the windscreen, taking the old ones off and then replacing. However, as the 307 bonnet interferes with this you have to either turn the engine off mid blade stroke or just pull the blade off the screen a little bit and then replace old for new. There is an easier way! Pop the bonnet, put it on its strut and hey presto you can now fully lift the blades into the up position and change them without risking a scratch on you screen. Hope that helps someone. Matt |

Is it not like the 407 turn ignition off and push wiper stalk down and the wipers will stop on the screen for replacement think you have to do this in the first 30sec of ignition off.

what ever you do, with the wiper arms up and the wipers removed...exposing the metal hook...do not open a door...your ecu thinks funny to reset the wipers, which as mentioned gets interfered with the bonnet and make a cracking noise as it impacts the windscreen...makes another noise shortly after similar to a phone rings and a windscreen company answers!

You don't actually need to turn the engine on. Turn the key to position 2, then turn off, then swipe the wiper. |
