changing air filter 505 sti?

Okay so my last post went all wonky so let's try that again.

Here's where the filter is, I think. Based on the French guide, a tube connects there, but it's a long, vent like tube. Everyone's engines I've seen so far have that or a mod which I can't figure out if that is what it is. I peered in that black bellow like tube and there wasn't anything in it. So I'm not sure if I need to take that off, take off a nut and pull out the filter or if I'm not getting this.

I'm hoping someone has a guide or can list steps, maybe some photos so I can get an idea of what to do. Any help is appreciated!
