buzzing noise in front of rear wheel

hi new to the site. recently noticed a buzzing noise coming from the n/s/r when i unlock the car/ put the ignition on or off, sounds electrical, any ideas??

Is your vehicle 5 door? I know the lock actuator sometimes can play up on the N/S/R door.

Send over more some more info on the vehicle & we can probably go further.
Model, 5dr/3dr, engine size, specific area (N/S/R bumper corner or door area)

I was once told it was the fuel pump electrics but whether it is true or not I have no idea.

its 3dr 1.6 gti hdi, the noise is coming from infront of n/s/r wheel just under the sill

I don't suppose you know if the vehicle has a fap filter? If so there is a small cerine flid tank that sits next to the fuel tank, it has a small moter that injects fuel into the tank every so often. Just make sure it is not this causing a buzzing.

yeah i think it has a fap, hasnt made the noise for the last couple of days though?

Yeh it is a possibility that it could be that was is buzzing but I'm unsure why it would do it when just unlocking the vehicle? Ignition turned on? maybe!

Just make sure it is not constantly pumping fluid into your fuel tank, check their is still fluid in the tank & it has not all emptied. It can be serious for your engine if it is constantly injecting into your fuel tank.

Have you noticed any other unfamiliar with the car? e.g engine running issues.

Keep us informed & I hope its a less serious fault.

yeah it seems kind of juddery when accelerating sometimes i thought it was jst the regen thing that it does, how easy is it to check the tank
