Default Bluetooth OBD2 device - Partner van

I would like to invest in a blue tooth diagnostic device that links to my android phone.

Can any one tell me if my Partner van is OBD2 compatible and which protocol it uses?

Also where I can find the connector?

And can anyone recommend a device that would be suitable?

Many thanks

you could buy a bluetooth obdII from amazon or fleabay.

your van if made after, i beleive 1998, will be obdII as it is a standard now and has to be built in.

as for the protocol, you could be lucky and find it will work and you can diagnose your van properly...but like so many users on here find that standard diag devices dont cut it and simply dont work. the reason for this...its peugeot....you will need to invest in something called planet/lexia interface.

hope this helps

Ok, I'll give it a try and post my findings.

Can anyone tell me where the socket is - engine bay or under the dash??

Thank you

it will moat likely be in the centre console at the bottom or on the right hand side (next to drivers right leg) is a piece of trim that comes off and its behind that.

Did you have any luck with this?

I have been looking at the Torque app for Android and was considering using a Bluetooth OBDII adaptor.
