Default 207 1.6 HDi Fuel Filter Replacement

Can any one give me any tips on replacing the fuel filter on my car please?

Its the 1.6 HDi, I know where the filter is etc but havent got a manual for it yet and have never owned a Diesel before so to be honest didnt know if there are any rules etc i need to follow or is it just a case of pull pipes etc off old one and just reverse fitment for new one?

Thanks in advance
Stu

Not sure if this will be of any help to any of you but I know the Diesel filter isnt one of the cheapest things so a local Motor Shop to me who I always use got me one in for £20

Its by a campany called MANN, who they told me make decent stuff and I thought for that much you could afford to replace it every 18-24 month instead of the 4 year that Peugeot told me it needed replacing at.

I aint no Mechanic and have never had a Diesel in my life but found this was pretty easy to do.

Only reason for posting this is that this is the Part Number for it

WK 939/2

Also it looked like it was the wrong one as there was no hole at the top for a wire/plug and also one of the Pipes didnt look like it would fit but there is a little seperate bit on the Filter that clicks off and connects to the new one so it all fits nice again.

Here is the link to that also

Like I say not sure if it will help anyone but you never know.
