206 2.0 HDI SW 2003 Headlight blown Bulb Issues

Can anybody help me with this issue ?

I seem to be having a problem with the drivers side dipped beam headlight.

It is blowing bulbs every 3-4 weeks or so.It has also melted the connector and on the two last bulbs melted the back of the bulb as well !.

I have checked the fuse and it is the correct rated size, and the bulbs are from a place I have purchased them from before and never had any issues, in fact I bought a pair and the passenger side is ok.

I am not using the automatic function of the headlights as it happened at first when I activated this, so I have stopped using that.

Has anybody had a simlar issue ? or can anybody suggest how this can be sorted ?
