*advice needed, please* How do I get behind the heater/fan controls on a Peugeot 307?

Hi,

I'm have a slight problem with my 2003 Peugeot 307. It's a 2.0 S model.
I'm having a browse online to see if I can find some info on how I can remove the heater/fan controls. Something has come loose behind these controls preventing me from having the fans on the windscreen setting. Also, when I turn the fan setting control, it turns the temperature control!!
Any help or advice would be greatfully appreciated.

Remove the radio and CD player or whatever is below the radio?
