Default protector 3623 12

206 1.4 HDi 'S' 2005

protector 3623 12 for lower suspension ball joint gaiter.

just one needed.

main dealer (JCT) only has packs of '20' for £30! + VAT = £1.80p each Inc.

Little bit more expensive once P&P is added, but you can get them at Peugeot Accessories More Info.

Morning jmkent, just getting ready to finish the car off and read about this ball joint protector. cant get an image on your link, can you describe one for me please. Thinking on is this for the 407? sounds more like a proper ball joint

I'm afraid I haven't a clue what they are.... just did a Google for the part in question as the OP doesn't want the pack of 20 from the dealers (that site seems to sell all the small fiddly bits )

The pic here shows them as part no.11 for a 206

Edit: that part doesn't seem to exist on the 407 (mine anyhow, but closest is part no. 27 on 2nd pic)

Ill have a look on service box, waiting for the stealers to ring back. on your pics part 31 looks interesting. thanks for your reply by the way i'll let you know what i find out. Brad

it comes up as pivot protector but number is 3623 26. stealers can order for wednesday but quote £1.20 each so maybe sold singly. Bought a bolt from order and they came in a pack of multiples, he sold me one from that.

407 doesn't have the ball joint protector 3623 12.
