Hi im looking for a rallye camshaft and valve springs to suit a ax gt head as i understand they are similar engines.
![]() Looking for a standard camshaft in good order hopefully from a low miles engine or a mid/mild camshaft that I could use in an every day driver. Might be interested in a rallye head if there is a low miles one out there on offer, that i could get skimmed so the compression ratio wouldnt be to low, on my standard 1360 alloy bottom end. Iv got my engine in pieces so hopeing to sort it soon

The Rallye is a heavy redesign of the 1.4, reducing the capacity to 1.3 and upping the power to nearly 100BHP. What you need is the cam from the 205XS which had the same motor as the AX GT.

The only difference between the bottom ends is that the 1.3 has higher compression pistons but still has the same cylinder bore diameter. The xs is the same engine as the ax gt so getting the cam would do nothing for the power. Steve |
