Newbie in Crewe

Hi Peeps

My name is Gaz I'm now the proud but slightly disillusioned owner of a 2006 407 sw 2.0 hdi, more about the disillusionment in another post or ten!!

I'm located in Crewe and the father of two lovely boys, I've owned various pugs and renos (a sucker I know) so will probably be a prolific poster in the months and years to come.

I try to do all my own spannering only giving in when ramptime or lack of skill/knowledge prevail!

I was also wondering how to get hold of stubbo as I have a dpf fault showing and I am due to take car on holiday in two weeks so limp mode to Tenby doesnt really appeal

Welcome to the forum the 407 sw nice car have one myself the DPF fault could be something small how many miles as your car covered ?

Would pay to get peugeot planet yourself if you are going to keep your latest purchase if your near to me at some point will check it for you .

PP isn't an option at the mo as I have no laptop, always been a desktop kinda guy, I have a friend who owns a garage but he selfishly moved to Southampton to open it! So hes not an option either, although I msy travel to him after Tenby to have my cambelt changed, what with it being free labour an all.

We did kiln park a couple of yrs ago and really liked it. But with a two yr old and two month old we've rented a cottage as a static probably wouldnt have taken all rga associated cr@p we take away with us now

I take it there's no FAP on x-line or zenith' TBH I'm really happy with car always been a pug or Reno buyer had a few boggles with this one but nothing major, the garage I bought it off replaced DMF and clutch under there warranty!!!! Got a hole in a/c condenser in the process of buying a new one and then just silly thing like tailgate glass only opens on O button and intermittent parking sensor use! But you cone to expect this stuff when buying French

No fap in those 2 models wished i had known before hand
Had my DPF removed now though just waiting for MOT smoke test december

My back glass door only opens with remote took it all to bits but could not find problem live with it now
