Exclamation Just joined the forum!
Hello Ive just joined the forum as I picked up my first peugeot car tonight. Its a peugeot 306 hdi meridian V reg 1999.

The main reason why Im buying this car cause the mpg saving costs.

Also I like the look of the car and the hdi engines are ment to be good and reliable.

Final but least the car was only £420 cheap enough it just needs alittle tlc it was a damaged repairable. But the work has been done by the last owner allready. Just afew bits left to finnsh of with tlc.

Anyway Im Pete and near Wrexham in Wales.

Welcome , had one of these until the fan belt split and hit the timing belt , so don`t skimp on a fanbelt

Thanks, Yes Im going to change the cam belt, pully, water pump, fan belt, oil, oil filter, fuel filter and gear box oil. Its worth doing on cars that are good in the end.

It's the Welsh spelling - as Wrecsam is in Wales.
