Hi all

new the forum

have a 55 plate 407 SW HDi (1.9)

all kinds gone wrong on it over the last 18 months, the latest thing is the

Particle filter additive levels too low

error message

seems some people get a troublesome 407 and others get one that never causes an issue..............i'm not saying which one mine is cos i dont want to tempt fate

Right we're going to have to get you trained up , always ask for help, thats what we're here for. I live in Livingston , current cars are 06 C5 and 05 307 both 1.6 110 hp hdi . PM me if you want any advice and if I can help I will.

Local garage doing it tomorrow morning for me now
I love the car but godam it ive had some bad luck
Turbo blown, new starter motor, both wheel bearings, both rear window regulators (in the same week !) rear windscreen wiper motor, abs sensors ..... The list goes on

Funny thing is its going as soon as ford deliver my dads new car, then i get his current car.... Yep youve guessed it..... Another 407SWHdi but on a 58 plate with 45k miles

Hes never had anything go wrong it.... Sods law lol

sorry to hear about your problems i am also from Livingston but could only give you moral support as i am just relearning about pugs bad habits hopefully i won't encounter to many but finding small ones but iam a bit of a picky sod

I'm superstitious like that too. I work with someone who had a petrol 206 and had no end of issues with it. I've just got a 2000 HDi 2ltr turbo and stick my fingers in my ears (figuratively) when I here negative Pug stories.
