Default Hello from N.Ireland
Hi all

Been lurking for some time so thought I should step up and say hello (and I see some names I already know from the 407 forum)

I've owned my 407 for just over 2 years. Its a 2006 1.6HDI SE, just over 50k on the clock. Its pretty standard bar an oval tail pipe that was welded on in place of the original which was cut off and binned. Heres the before & after pics:





The car has been flawless bar the obligatory front end clunk and subsequent lower joint replacements. Steady 52mpg every tank but I know that troubles may lie ahead... I get a chirping at biting point on the clutch but its been like that for a year and hasnt got any worse.

Very interested in de-DPF'ing it some day when I pluck up the courage

Oh... and I'm a PP owner so am happy to help out any local persons in need of diagnostics.

Well... I am a bit thick really

Hadn't realised that posts with images are held back for checking (I suppose thats in case anyone posts up a pic of a VW Tdi? )

So... I didnt realise that this thread was here at all as it hadnt appeared before - and I've just reposted another "hello thread". Numpty
