Hello, new to the forum.
Recently bought my first car - Silver Peugeot 206 (called Belle). As it's an X reg there are a few problems, so I had a look on the web and found you guys. I hope someone might help me out with a mystery wet passenger foot well but I'll post this in the right place if/when my account is properly approved. Water seems to be coming in over the door seal close to the front door drain hole. Door drains appear to be clear and no other obvious reason for water ingress. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks Gemma |

What is the condition of the seal like that goes between the bodywork and the door (when closed)?
I had to replace a window seal on mine the other month, and after doing so, didn't quite put the lining back together on the inside of the door card, thus when it rained the water would run down the inside, and out the door drains, yet instead of running on to the metal and out the car, it ran down the inside of the door card and on top of the seal, and once there is too much it overflows, and could come inside. Might be a long shot, but you never know - would be worth having a look. Another check... does the wet patch smell of anything? I ask to see if it is clean water getting in, or perhaps a coolant leak from heater etc running down from behind the dash. You could always try pouring water on to the door both when open to check door drains, but then when closed to check door seals... its how I found how mine was leaking. Hope my rambling is of some use

Maybe the plastic sheet behind the door card needs replacing .
