Default Hello from France to sunny(!) England.

...to all others on the list too. I just found your forum and chose it over others because you had way more people online this Saturday morning. We live in Alsace, France; have 2 PSA vehicles and are looking for another:

1996 Boxer 1.9ted passenger van. I found this for a low price because a turbo hose had burst in a hidden spot, and everyone thought the turbo was dead, including me. It was a pleasant surprise to find the split hose! The 1.9ted really has a lot of spunk once I turned up the fuel a fair amount. The NVH (noise vibration harshness) is however pretty bad. But beggars can't be choosers, and for €3500 I am happy with the purchase. I renewed the brakes including disks/drums, rear springs (2 clicks heavier from a utility model), radiator, exhaust (sporty shorty 2.5" now), wheel bearings, and a bit more. It had a pesky wiring problem that took months to solve; if interested let me know. My only main remaining issue is, unfortunately, semi-serious rust along the RH side of the unibody due to winter salt

2011 Dangel 4x4 Partner 110hdi 1.6. It's actually the Berlingo Multispace version, but as we know only the badges and trim differ. We're part of the Dangel 4x4 family, so we get this little gem as a work perk. I am too tall to fit well in it, but my wife loves it. It's an excellent snow car with lots of room inside for the kids and their antlers. At Dangel we can buy PSA parts at below-dealer cost, which I used a lot to fix up the Boxer.

Now I'm looking for a 406 so I can teach the kids to drive. French law requires the handbrake between the front seats for any family driver training program. The Partner has that but we're not willing to let young uns drive such a nice vehicle. I am primarily joining this forum to pose questions about 406 models out there so I can make another crafty purchase deal.

Nice to meat you awl! (I love bad puns so feel free to fire back) I speak French, Spanish, and some Deutsch too.
