hello all, my name is john, i live in france and this is my winter beater, 1988 2.5 GTD 505




i've only got it a week ago, so will soon be soon enough asking questions about upp'ing the power as i know these are pretty unbustable engines, i plan on keeping the interior and exterior as it left the factory but maybe a slight lowering and some nice wheels, 505's are now expensive here so important to keep its originality, the engine.... are there any gains to be had...

my name ahh yes before anyone says owt... its the name i use all over as i am a VW man having owed over 100 over the last 15 years

the 505 will become my daily driver to take abit of the weight off my Polo
