evening all!
![]() The wife has a 1007, which up to press, had been a great car, only needing servicing, and a few very minor repairs under warranty.... So, I've joined the forum to pick some brains, as, late on christmas eve, she hit the mother of all potholes, and the FNS spring sheared! We recovered the car, and I managed to get the old spring off without any further damage - by very careful use of spring compressors and an angle grinder...! thankfully it appears to be just the spring which is tatered, and yes, I'll do both whilst I'm doing... Question is.. anyone else done this, and care to advise? thanks in advance ATB Sim Last edited by FarmerSim; 12-31-2011 at 06:06 PM. |
