Just acquired a low mileage (49,000) 1988 309 1.3 GL manual.
Due (but not overdue) a thorough service, clock and speedo not working but otherwise all good. Could not recall actually seeing a 309 before I bought it (though I must have seen plenty). A nice simple capable car - feels a treat to drive as well. |

I had a 309 years ago and so did my parents, the start of my journey with peugeot, car lasted me ages with very few problems bearing in mind it took some stick I was eighteen at the time.
If I remember right speedo was common problem as cable snapped.
