I fitted white dials to my 307. It was very easy and I am by no means an expert.
Im not 100% happy with them as my original black dials only went up to 110 mph whereas the white dials went to 130mph, rev counter was 6000 on my black and 7 or 8 I think on the white. Fuel gauge is also off as the white dials came out of a petrol which has a 40 litre tank and my original black dials were for my 1.4hdi which has 60 litre tank. Ive been meaning to take it out and tinker with the dials and try and change it so its accurate. Still looks great though and I have blue dash lights, its 10mph roughly in difference.

When replacing the needles, all you do is push them back in to the zero position, if you put them anywhere else or try to wind them back, then they will just stutter when you start the car.
Push them to zero on all counters..
