Where else does it connect to or is it just a bracket connected to the roll bar. If the other end is not connected to anything i would just remove it, cant really see what it is from the image. I had one of these and it didnt have one of those.

Firstly I misread the original post, I didnt have the GT version sorry. Secondly, it must me somthing to do with anti roll. Its gotta be an aftermarket mod as im sure peugeot wouldnt use that sort of attachment on the running gear. Is it on original springs and shocks? Maybe a HID conversion is a possability.

Thx for the reply guys

i had the same thought last night

it has HID lamps that go up and down , though i thought they were fitted as standard and i wouldn’t have thought Peugeot would have done so in this manner still confused

Just got the phone with Peugeot after emailing them the photo,

they are in the dark best guess an extra may that have been added for autoadjust headlamps lights by Peugeot and they may have done it with a jubilee clip as they never sold that many , their mechanics had never seen auto adjust headlamps (up and down) on a 308 so couldn’t say what it should look like !

Just got an email back from the orginal Peugeot garage the car came from

The clip holds the height adjuster for automatic h/lights , and they are held by a jubilee clip
