i serviced it when i bought it in november with proper peugeot parts, also changed cambelt just for peace of mind.....had a gearchange conversion done as the actual H was really slack....to be fair the mpg been the same since i bought it. the car doesn't seem as powerful as i expected....it has a rattle or knock from the engine as if maybe a follower is starting to dry up.....its hard to explain in words....if i go above 3000rpm it sounds like its gonna get angry rather than deliver power....cheers

Is it firing in all pots?

Mine gets 41-45 average. I average 50 on motorways, but because I start work early and really can't get myself to set off on time, I kinda horse it. Not wise with a squeaky clutch (think it's release bearing, not sure how dangerous that is.. Betty... John?)

Difference between mine and yours is trim, am I right?

yeah its firing sound just that maybe it feels like the timings slightly out i even considered a remap to try correct this....just feels like theres nowt there....yeah i have the same clutch problem but i ignore it...ill replace it when it goes bang...its just a whine in 3rd gear...someone on ere said turn the radio up so i did... what is the egr for whats its function....could this be a problem...how much will a software update cost me....sorry this is really getting annoying...also the flat spot...it used to do it just changing from 1st to 2nd but now its stareting to do it in third two.....

you will know if your bearing goes mate, you get a really loud squeeking noise when you press clutch...not to mind the smoke, smells and the fact that you have to balance the clutch and accelerator together to move. i shit myself when mine went...i was at the main junction in marton at the front of the queue aswell had to force it to tesco fuel.

have to be carefull mate if you have DMF could take that out aswell if your not carefull.
