Default What engine would you pick?

So im really curious about what you guys think in regards to economics, performance and running expenses of different engines.

Few picks here with relevant info:

2.0, D, 170hp, 8.3sec to 100km/h, 5.1L/100km (46mpg), 350EUR per year registration
3.0, D, 240hp, 5.9sec to 100km/h, 6.6L/100km (35mpg), 1200EUR per year
1.8, P, 160hp, 8.6sec to 100km/h, 7.1L/100km (33mpg), 350EUR per year
2.0, P, 211hp, 6.9sec to 100km/h, 7.4L/100km (32mpg), 350EUR per year

short explanation of each column:
engine displacement, fuel type, power, acc to 100km/h, fuel consumption, registration and taxes each year

So which one would you pick, and why?

Obviously, while answering, try to answer in realistic manner, factoring in not only the specs and prices, but other pro's and cons, like maintenance, noise, longevity. etc etc.

Without a doubt, the 2.0D

Diesel performance far outweighs that of a petrol, in my opinion... albeit not 0-60 times (or 0-100 ) but overall performance is superior... the pull in higher gears, and performance on hills just can't be touched by a petrol engine.
Combine the performance with fuel economy and you've got a good package
Apparently higher purchase cost and service costs compared to petrols, but I believe they will last longer though, and if you're a higher mileage driver, they'll pay for themselves too.
As for noise, modern diesels are just as quite as petrols now... my Pug HDI is quieter than the VW / Audi diesels... get what you pay for, think not

Well I always wanted a coupe but the right engine was never their(in my opinion ) until the 2.0 170 came out in 2010 ,my car is originally a N.ireland car as they never sold it in the south only the old 2.0 2.7 and 2.2 petrol. For me it balances the perfect Balance between performance and economy ,overtaking is a breeze and a average run at 100kph will return 56/8 mpg
