Default Water In Fuel Warning Lamp?

Just bought a Peugot 205 and the "water in fuel warning lamp" is always. What does this mean and is it a costly/serious job?

No this should be fixed with a few quid unless there is a problem with the sensor. You need to goto a good car store and pick up something up called "Dry Fuel". This happened to me and I bought this:

and then the light went off. Hope that helps.
