BBC - Watchdog: 'Brake'-ing news!

Saves on installing dual control i suppose or for those times the missus gets excited with the right foot Or is that just mine

just looked at the link that happened to me on mine few months back my mother was in the car beside me kicked her foot under the dash and hit the break switch lucky i was only doing 30mph at night no cars about the car did stop it was strange feeling then the abs breaking fault came up so i new it was that switch as i just replaced it few days before it happen had a look and it was pushed in fully in the guy at pug told me only to make sure they are only in 2 clicks

well if citroen/peugeot ie PSA keep to their word about doing the work for free etc i say good on them. admitting there maybe a problem, but only these 3 are known and willing to sort it out, very good of them.

normally companies wait untill they have a certain percentage or number of faults before they have to admit liability or their hands are forced to sort it.

i wonder what the sales of the toyota went like after they found the brake fault and claimed to have fixed it

I'd personally rather have this than toyotas lack of brakes!

Betcha the recall is a big sticker across the dash than says 'NO STRETCHING!'.
