want to get planet peugeot???

ok having just brought a 307 02 plate i would like to get planet peugeot, having looked though the site im confused as to what i need to exactly get.

i dont have anything at the moment not even a laptop so to start with that am i right in thinking it needs to run xp? if so i will buy a cheap second hand laptop as i have a new install of xp and will put that on and use laptop just for planet.

now this is where im confussed does the software come with the leads or do i need to do the down load of planet that is on this site? if so i did try this the other night and didnt get very far. does anyone have a copy on cd that can be brought?

im hoping that i wont need it to often but having looked on the map there doesnt seem anyone round here with it so i might be able to help a few others in this area.

any help would be great

Your right you will need a laptop that runs XP unless your tech savy and know how to set up a virtual machine.

Apart from that you just need the Lexia 3 kit, it comes with the software for Peugeot and Citroen

no but when you get hold of the Lexia kit, on the CD will be a version that will install a virtual machine already loaded with XP and it will run inside that.

So to simplify:-

You run windows 7
start the virtual machine (XP)
Run Planet

So these CDs that come with a virtual XP machine.... they got XP licences too?

I wouldn't know I used my original XP disk on VMWare virtual machine as I feel it's better and quicker then the free version they are giving away

I can sell you my kit if your intested, done me proud on 307 hdi dturbo. Ive now sold it so no futher use for it. Paid £110 in december used about 5 times...£80 delivered in uk
