Hi
I have just having my 2002 206 BSI virginised, bought a brand new ECU. Trying to find someone to re-program on-site but struggling. I have been told that the car will still start - bit confused so any help would be great. Thanks in advance |

I am a little confused. Am i right you have bought a new engine ecu and had bsi virginised? If this is the case without programming you wont get it to start. Unless the engine ECU has been made free running,

Thanks for getting back on this.
Yes brand new ECU and viginised BSI. I have been trying to locate someone local with Peugeot Planet to re-program them but no luck. I phoned a specialist French Motor garage nearby - couldnt come here but said there was no reason why it wouldnt start. To be honest thats why I posted cause I didn't believe him. You have just saved me £225 for a new ECU so many thanks. Richard |

When you do get someone with pp you`ll probably find the multiplex connection from Ecu to BSI is absent and needs reconfigured.
