Default tyre pressure sensors after puncture

Had a low tyre pressure warning light come on. Found there was a nail in
tyre. Was quite close to a major tyre dealer, who I've used fairly often, so
put a bit more air in and gently headed there for repair. They fixed hole
(+ rebalanced wheel + new standard valve).

Looking at the Peugeot handbook I find big warnings saying all attention to
tyres must be done only by a Peugeot dealer. Which wouldn't have been atall
convenient.

Tyre dealer says the low pressure indicator/transmitter should have reset
itself when tyre was re-inflated, so sees no reason why insistence on only
Peugeot dealer .

Have checked old threads and get mixed views. This is on a 3008 - do the sensors work differently than older pugs?

The problem is your garage has fitted a standard tyre valve and removed the valve with the built in sensor. You will have to see if they kept it or get a new one from Peugeot at £97.00 + VAT.

Or disable tpm with peugeot planet and whenever you change your other tyres replace them with standard normal valves and save a fortune ,
or if you want to keep the tpm buy landrover ones at £9.99 that do the same job.
