hi everyone first post.
i bought a 306 in march wich i adore an love and the engine light is on the guy i bought it from said its somat to do wid a throttle position sensor and hes replaced it many tyms and it keeps cmin bk so we went to the garage and deleted the code wich made the light go away then yesterday i started to give the car the beans in 2nd gear full foot down and wen i came 2 a stop the light came back on so i went to the garage and they said it was the tps wat shal i do it doesnt affect the engine, performance i can jus leave it if it doesnt affect it but knowing tht the engine light is on it realy pees u off. |

you could leave it if you wanted, but when it is time for the mot, it will fail because it has a fault on the dash...thats what i am lead to beleive, could be wrong tho.
if it has been replaced many times but the fault still keeps on coming back i would like to beleive there is a underlying problem here and will need a more indepth diagnoses of what could be knocking the tps off. but again this could be a peugeot thing and it could be just the tps sensor design being crap, such like the abs sensors.
