towbar mounted cycle carriers

has anyone had any experience of these things

thinking about getting one so our 14yr old son can take his bike with us on days out, it'll only be used for one cycle occasionally so doesnt need to be the best quality just good enough so nowt falls off ie the bike

Be interesting to get people's opinions - I too am looking at cycle carriers for the 407, either tow bar or roof mounted
