Yeah, we've seen that. There are many such bleating sites for all makes out there, usually posted by people who let it drag on for far too long without trying to reject the car.

My 1st 3008 was a case in point - utter dog, stood ground, rejected after 46 days, duly replaced.

I really hate people like that. Out of the 40 cars I've owned, I've only had one Ford. It was rubbish. I left it at that, I don't feel the need to start websites or post in general car chats to keep away from them like some do.

If I had a quid for "stay away, it's French" whenever a Peugeot / Citroen or Renault is posted. Well, I'd have about £15 but that's beside the point.

To me its nothing more than jealousy that the French manage to have a few pretty successful car companies when the UK has none.

If the cars were so bad then why aren't they out of business? Why are there so many on the road? I've had some BL and Rover cars, now they ARE bad!

But what do I know. My granddad used to work for Mazda and he brought home some prototype sketches of the MX-5 and I said "its too curvy, it'll never catch on and sell".

I agree, it really does seem ridiculous going to all that effort. That guy's had to pay for that domain and probably spent many hours composing that!

Fair enough, you've had a bad experience. Why don't you just write a review on 'whatcar?'. It doesn't mean all Peugeot's or french cars are 'merde'!

I must admit I did a bit when reading it!
