Default Strang transmission problem

We've had our 407 SW for about a year now, a 2.0 HDi -06 (about 150.00 km/93.000 miles). These last couple of months it's started behaving a bit weird. If you put your foot down completely when accelerating the revs will start spinning at about 2000rpm to then "gain grip" again at about 2400 rpm.

It's not always like this, it comes and goes, but it's mostly there. It's also not on all gears, only 4th through 6th.

Any ideas on what to do about this? Is it time for a clutch service?
