Default starting problem 406 hdi 110,2002.

hi guys new to this and would be greatful for some advice, about 2 years ago my pug wouldn't start when cold so i just left it as i had other cars to use,i,ve just decided to put it back on road as i miss the comfy ride,so replaced the glow plug just in case and every thing else still works (result) but it still doesn't start from cold even on a warm day ? spray a tiny bit of easy start in air box and it starts first time no problem, any ideas as to what this could be ? many thanks...phil
