Unhappy Speedometer Stopped Working

Hi guys, I was just wondering if any one could help me out? I have been an owner of a Peugeot 206 03 plate 1.1 car for 2 years now and recently things have started going wrong. I have been to garages but they're just not much help and since then, more and more things have been going wrong.

Firstly, the headlights lights kept coming on on its own.
Secondly, I noticed my car was flashing the person in the car in front on its own, during signalling.
Thirdly the petrol gauge just wasn't sensing petrol being put in tank, however that lasted for a day before working again.
Fourthly, yesterday the speedometer stopped working yesterday when driving on a dual carriageway and dropped from 60mph to 0mph.
All in a space of a month.

Could this all be down to electrics or something? Just no garage is ever helpful. I have spent loads on this car this past year, had an MOT 7 weeks ago, loads of work prior to that with new injectors etc. I just can't afford any more, and it seems to be one thing or another.

I'd really appreciate any help or experiences any of you have. Thanks!
