I have hunted down one of the last Bipper Tepee Outdoor 1.4 HDi 70 models, should be on a transporter from Inverness this weekend. Just got a call while writing this to say sat outside garage on transporter to collect Wednesday.
I looked at the 'S' model as many more available and was quoted £350 for the roof bars to be fitted, if going to use as a roof rack check out eBay as there was some cheap ones for Bipper. I wanted one as as easier to get in & out than my lovely 206SW 1.4 HDi as higher seat and if I remove the widest seat in back my Pride Celebrity Sport 8mph scooter should fit in. I have ordered a spare wheel rim as don't like the sealant pump system, destroys tyre and causes balencing problems I have read, dealer has quoted £240 to fit underfloor spare wheel mounting system, that does not include a jack and wheelbrace so will get a tyre on rim and keep in boot for now. I hope you like your Bipper Tepee. Would love to hear more about the Bipper Tepee from anyone, a fan club would be nice. |

George look at eBay Item number: 300525142448 as cheapest I could find at £53.99 delivered, there are many other nicer looking ones a bit dearer, I believe Bipper Van, Tepee, Nemo and Qubo all the same but the sellers would advise if different, looks like your would have to remove piece of plastic at each corner then brackets fasten with 2 bolts at each corner into captive nuts in roof panel groove. Remember if you fit Peugeot roof bars at sides you will also have to buy the clamp on roof rails that go across so could be expensive as I use that system on my 206SW, I also found the genuine Peugeot cross bars were not best of quality for the price, I am hoping my 206SW cross bars will also fit onto the Bipper roof bars.
Hope it helps in some way. |
