Hello all.
I have recently aquired myself a 2000 306 hdi meridian. I have two keys with the car that both unlock the car with key in door and both start the car. I have trawled the net to try and see if i can get the remote central locking to work from the key fob and have attampted the key in ignition hold button for 10seconds routine to no avail. I just wanted to know if there are any other ideas or if any of you guys have ever actually had success in this area as i believe alot of you must of had the remote central locking issues and from all the searching i have tried i have yet to find a success story, other than the stealership route that is. many thanks Mark. |

yes sorry i forgot to state.
both keys open all the doors from either drivers or passenger side and lock them too, with the key in the door. and both keys have been fitted with brand new batteries. |

Ok. There is a training procedure that needs to be done with Peugeot Planet to get the fobs to work. They are HF high frequency.
It involves training all the keys again.

so just to confirm.
There is no way to re-sync the keys central locking without the diag software? i.e the put key in ignition turn to 2nd position and hold lock button for 10 secs type of proceedure. Thanks for the quick relpy too by the way. |

Thanks for confirming that, i'll stop sitting in the car turning keys and pressing buttons randomly now trying to get the key fob to work.
There still must be an easier way than going to the stealership or buying your own diag software i.e peugeot planet. What happens when the battery runs out? you have to do this every time? |
