remote locking 406

hi is there anybody who can tell me how to programme my door key remote so it unlocks the doors again, just how it did before i had the battery disconnected. ive followed the steps in the owners manual but to no joy, ive had no trouble with it until the battery was disconnected, so the fob batt. should be ok. please make my 1st postin a lucky one, cheers...
