Lightbulb Remap 307 sw hdi 90 bhp

Hi guys is it worth getting a remap for my 307 does it increase the bhp and save fuel by much or just buy one of the tuning boxes off ebay if i get a remap are there any problems what you know of what i should look out for if i get a remap as its changeing the ecu setting as i dont fancy a trip to peugeot

i have heard that those tuning boxes do their job but only for a short while, the lifespan of parts are severly reduced, youre best bet is to get it done on a rolling road by a pro. will cost about £200 to get a decent one, it will increase your bhp and mpg...by how much im not sure, you can go on google and type in ecu remap, find a decent page with your car in and it will tell you what the expected outcome of BHP, Torque and MGP is.

so you think a remap is the way to go then i will have to have a good look around cheers cck2k9

Will put you up around 120/130bhp , my last 307 was mapped and still going at over 250k.

i did not think it would go up that much 120/130 bhp from a 90 i think i will look for a good company and get it done cheers mate will let you know
