Default pp2000 driver for hardware

Hi

I recently bought on ebay(door2doorshop) a copy of pp with hardware. Last week it arrived and now I try to install. everything goes well but can't find the driver for the hard ware. Not on www not on included dvd. Could someone give me some help where I could find it.

Or somebody can email it in zip file. Koentje.69@gmail.com

Thx Already

Just try downloading the software from Phil's site on here.... that version definitely works

Make sure to follow the installation guides on this forum to in order for it to install correctly

Betty wollocks,

I'll try to explain.

I can install the software no problem , then it ask to shut down restart with the device. Ok done that , the green lamp comes on but further than that nothing. When I look in hardware I see a problem with the driver not installed and try to search but no found....

Next ????

definately dosnt sound good, I recently got pp myself (from a different ebay seller I believe) and installed the software and when I plugged the hardware in it installed the drivers automatically and works fine, sounds like it could be a hardware problem with the hardware box, or fingers crossed, just the cable.

i'll dig out the disk when I get chance and see if I can find the driver. It didnt ask me to insert the disk (as just remembered I installed from the one betty links to in his thread) so didnt have the disk inserted and also wasnt connected to the internet, so got a feeling when it installs it copies the driver files it needs so that when the USB is plugged in, it automatically finds and configues them as it needs etc. Or it just uses the standard HID windows drivers as I know the standard windows HID USB drivers are used a lot for things (I made a USB LED light unit for my old marine reef tank that was USB and that used the HID drivers etc (Apart from the config type descriptors etc (ie manufacturer code/product code etc))

Right, just grabbed the disk and I believe I have found the files for the USB (I think!) as one is a sys file and the other is the inf file.

Rather than send them to you, first be worth checking that they are on yours or not first.

filenames:

ACTIAUSB.inf
VCommUSB.sys

as looking through the inf file it has reference to the sys file to install, so see if you have those files, as if you do, then I also think it sounds like a hardware problem (or in bettyswollocks words: your interface is fubar lol!!!)

PS. bear in mind that you might not see the file extensions as windows tends to auto hide known file extensions etc. but theyre the only 2 files with those names.
