hi guys.
someone please help me out of this misery, i have a 2006 pug 1.6 hdi face lift model, dreaded polution fault is on display, after now realising this is a common fault and lots of factors that could cause this can someone tell me where the best place is to start to resolve this issue, the car pulls and drives fine untill limp mode kicks in! however on turning off and re-starting its fine again? ive seen lots of info on the eoyls fluid and could possibly need topping up and re-setting ecu but can i find this tank "NO" does my car have this system? regards |

Yes, you're car is more than likely got the DPF system.
As for finding the fault, as you've been reading up on it, you will probably be aware that there are many causes for it.... so the best solution is to get a diagnostic run on it. There is a list of Peugeot Planet owner's on this forum under Maintenance, so check to see who is close to you who maybe able to help you out. There is no use in second guessing what might be causing the error, and no use in replacing any part until the diagnostic is done.
