Default planning on EGR clean

he folks,

just wondering if anyone would be interested if uploaded a video of how to clean your EGR valve using wynns EGR3.

the reason i am asking is because im planning on doing this myself and watching italian videos it looks like it clears alot of crap from the engine! and results in a quieter more efficient engine.

granted ill be doing this on my car, which is not a pug...but it does have a peugeot engine, slightly modded by ford.

I'd be interested in this, done 30,000 miles in my 307 over the past 14 months and like to do as much as I can myself.

when you buy the kit of ebay you get the fuel additive and egr cleaner....as for oil additive, if you use a decent brand it already comes with it included...but i heard people say millers is good.

hi joker,

not too sure tbh...never heard of what you have mentioned. ive done the clean...just need to get the video of my mate...when i finished attached the pipe and started the car and reved it...it dumped loads of black crap out the back and the car feels faster on pull off and the engine sounds smoother. cant comment on MPG as i have been ragging it everywhere getting the stuff through the engine

soon as i get the vid/pics etc ill post up

Hi John, theres a guy on youtube with a de-coke video but id be very happy to watch your vid as any knowledged gained is helpfull , iv been told that 10k is a spray you just spray into the air intake and it sounds like it does the same as you discribed , and cataclean cleans the engine internally and even cleans the cat converter - never used it myself but iv read shed.loads of good things about it, but never met anyone who has actually used it!.
