I have Peugeot Planet 2000 software which gives a list of engine codes when you connect it. How do I find out which engine code my 206 GTi 2003/53 would have? What difference does it make if I select the wrong type? as all the menus seem to be the same regardless of what you click on.

I was also wondering if anyone knows if it is possible to add extra features such as auto hazzard warning and auto-lock and where to find them in the software?

if you select wrong engine type, PP2000 will come back with a error statting there was no reply back from ECU, best way to find out your engine ecu is to do global test.

Thanks, we picked a random engine code and did not get an error. We were able to get feedback from the ECU and run checks like turning on the windscreen wipers to prove it was talking to it.

I'll have a look under that option for the extra features. Is it the same place for all Peugeot models or just in that place for the 206?

Also, anyone have a screen shot of this section on PP2000 for a 206?

checking wipers and etc and parameters you can do without engine code, but for Engine ecu you would need correct ECU, but meh. it works many ways. do whatever is best suits you.

all cars with BSI, you have to config them through BSI Config then do a customer option.

why would you need screen shot? options would be depending on your BSI Frameware version, all 206's are different.

Your Engine code is part of your vin number look there .

Thanks, i'm sure I have latest firmware for the ECU as it had an update from Peugeot about 8 months ago.
