More info?
What's your laptop? What's the wireless card? Is there a disabled or unknown device in Device Manager corresponding to the wireless card?

i believe planet plays with the network connections, to install the server service...which you cant use anyways as you dont have a log on name and password. one method is it changes the MAC address and inputs the loopback ip of 127.0.0.1 address in.
