Hi,
I have a PEUGEOT 407 2.0 HDI AUTO X-LINE SW built in 2005. The on board computer keeps on beeping alerts at me that are incorrect. For example it says that the left indicator bult is not working, or that the stoplamp bulb is faulty. It beeps at me constantly with untrue alerts, recently it is telling me that the ABS is faulty and I don't know whether to believe it or not... Has anyone else experienced this problem? Can anyone offer an explination or a solution? I'd be happy if I could get rid of it completely but expect this is not possible... |

ABS/ESP - Probably one of the wheel sensors has gone, getting the codes read by someone on here will tell you which one. Phil |

I had the same problems and warnings, so I put a new earth wire onto the rear clusters which relieved them a bit.
I also checked out the brake light switch under the passenger side dash and found that the plunger had been pushed in a bit too far. It was just a case of pulling it out a few clicks to get a better contact and I haven't had a problem since. Hope this helps.
