Hey guys, Im new to all this fix it your self stuff, but i'm gunna put my two pence in.

so my question is have you checked all the fuses?

Reasons why...

About 6 months ago, I left my key in the ignition overnight in the garage and came in and forgot all about it. went back the next day and the battery was dead. tried what guys did which was recharge the battery etc, nothing work, engine was turning, but seemed like the immobiler was not letting it start

Any way, called the AA down, who spent about 45+ mins trying to get it started. it finally came down to a very small yellow (10amp) fuse in the engine fuse's. he gave me about 5/6 of these fuses and left saying he's only temporarly fixed the issue and get it to a garage to check.

never had any issues since. hope it works out for you guys.

My car is a 2.0 307 110 HDI.

Hope it works out for you.

I've not heard anything back from Gary about this, but he did say he would look at a few things n if it still wouldn't run he would scrap it so my guess is he has gave up on the pug

Thumbs up Success!!!!!!!!

Well guys the old girl never sold so i decided to have another go
Turns out i had the wrong fuel pressure sensor fitted to the bottom of the rail.
I had fitted a seimans one instead of the original bosch type so today i dug out the old sensor and refitted it and hey presto she started
Now running as sweet as a nut and she will be taxed again at the end of the month so heres to the next 150000 miles
Turns out the fault was caused by gunk in the gauze of the in-tank fuel pump causing fuel starvation and lumpy running.
Thanks must go to Karl68 and Bettyswallocks without your help guys the old girl would be Coca Cola cans by now
Keep the faith guys
Cheers Gary
