Default Peugeot 308 is completely dead...PLEASE HELP!!!

Hi

I hope someone can help here. I drove my car on Friday evening and there were no issues, then went out to drive it on Saturday morning and there is NOTHING.

Central locking is not working - key turns and nothing happens - absolutely NOTHING!!!

I have a Peugeot 308 / 3yr old and about 30000 miles on it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

don't think so - would there not be some sort of power even if it was the battery??

it is currently being charged to check in case but we thought maybe the dashboard would light up even if battery was dead

thanks

Hi

not sure battery only on charge for about 2 hours and it is now powering on the light - however the fan is coming on too - could the fan be stuck in the 'on' position and drainging the battery???? or is this silly?
thanks

Mine died overnight on 407. Nothing the next day. Could not open the doors with remote central locking. No interior lights, key in ignition nothing, completely dead.

Malcolm.

You have a knackered battery.
If you say the fan is on (presuming you mean cooling fan on the radiator) then i'd say you have a faulty temp sender which is causing the fan to be permanantly on.
May get away with a full battery charge and sorting out the fan.
