Hi all. I bought a Peugeot 306 and she needs quite a few things repairing. I'm replacing the radiator but am having problems finding a new rubber seal (online) for the lower hose, any idea's? I also want to replace the window seals but don't know where to get these. If you have any links I would greatly appreciate the info. Thanks. Treezo

Peugeot Service Box
Go there, Sign up for a free account. Enter your VIN number into the search (second half of the VIN) that'll tell you all the parts that were fitted to your car. Then you can see what the part was, and have the original Peugeot part number. (this is sometimes useful when calling suppliers.) I've never said that peugeot are reasonable on prices, but I was on there yesterday after a handful of bits for my car, the total came to around £100 (this included some pretty big parts) I've always gone 3rd party pattern parts from ebay or scrap yards in the past, but for these handful of parts it makes sense to go to peugeot... get the right part at the right time. and not have to search far and wide. (one example is I want a handful of clips, I've already spent £5 at Halfords on a box of clips that don't really work/fit correctly, if I'd just spent £6 at Peugeot to start with I'd have saved £5!) -You'll probably find this is the same with the rubbers that you're looking for, use service box to find the part number, and the price. then contact your nearest Peugeot service department and ask them to get the parts in for you. (they charge the same -no commission.) |
