hi i have just put a set of racing bucket seats in my 206 GTI and the airbag warning light constantly showing up on the dash how can i stop the light and warning massage coming up on the digital readout. There are 3 cables that plug in to the standard front seats what do i do with them to get rid of the airbag warning light and read out message

The wires are probably occupancy sensors (pressure pad so it 'knows' when someone is sitting in the seat) so may be able to fit the sensor into the new seats, or possibly turn off the sensors with pug planet?

Peugeot Planet diagnostic software/interface.

thanks and is there such thing as a airbag simulator that i can plug in under the seats that will stop the fault thanks

please can someone tell me what i need to do to the 3 cables under the front seats in my pug 206 GTI because i have fitted racing seats with harnesses and need to stop the air bag warning light on the dash and the airbag fault coming up on the digital read out for my MOT there must be someone else out there who has fitted aftermarket seats in a 206 GTI and sorted out this problem
