Peugeot 205 XS engine swap

I have a Pug 205 XS road rally car, and used to have a Pug 106 XSI which sadly ended up rolled last xmas, I would like to put the more lively 106 engine (and close ratio gearbox) in the 205, so keeping a 1360 but with a bit more uump, so Ill need to convert the loom to suit the ECU etc, any thoughts on if a GTI loom would fit etc, I dont really want to go 1600 for class reasons and just love the old 106 XSI engines livelyness etc. It was defo quicker than a standard 205 1.6 GTI and drops in the engine bay just like that so a good swap if I can get to grips with the wiring etc, mechanically Im very good, electrically Im not really up to speed with inventing a new loom so looking for something that as close as possible just drops in.
