Hi my hubby has bought a
PEUGEOT 106 XAD CAR DERIVED VAN 1527cc (1998-04-28) DIESEL

we have just noticed the speedo does not working.however not being mechanic minded.we not sure which part is actually broke,clock,sensor etc.


for this model,can anyone tell us is the speedo run by cable or electric.and if we get the part,how easy is it to fix...any instruction how to do this be great....

Please help any advice be appreciated,wondered if we just bought new instrumental panel same as,would it work then.checked fuses seem ok.one has blown but thats to rear lights i believe f11 or f5..


sussed out where the speedo sensor is seems ok...is it worth changing.or how do we test it...now realise its electronic speedo so how do we fix...
